Background

Muslims throughout the world have been marking Eid al-Adha, but in war-torn Syria there is nothing to celebrate. Most people are struggling to meet the most basic of needs: food, water, and shelter allowing people who are desperately hungry to eat dogs and cats. During the Eid al-Adha holiday, considered one of Islam's most revered observances, many Muslims around the world sacrifice a sheep and share the meat with the poor. Outside Syrian Muslims held more plentiful Eid al-Adha celebrations.

With the recent happenings in Syria, a young lady had been attacked, shot, and then she fell in a comma. But that young lady decided to make a change. All she wanted was to go to school but after then she woke up, she wasn't in her country anymore. Her name is Malala Yousafzai and is 16 years old. After this she tried and got an appointment in the white house with the U.S Presidents, facing a powerful person face to face. This should be terrifying, but she stood up and explained her problem. wanting to solve the terrorism problems she gave her point of view, but she also confronted obama in a controversial way. In an interview she explained how did she faced President Obama.

She spoke with Michelle about her shooting, and then she spoke about terrorism. "I also expressed my concerns that drone attacks are fueling terrorism" Malala explained how the army was probably doing something wrong, because they were hurting innocent people. In this talk she does not only speak about Obama, she speaks to Talibans, asking them to stop. We got to remember that in her culture, women have no voice and are not considered at all. She speaks up to them and asks them to stop.

All Malala Yousafzai wanted was to go to school.
